Bin Pets are the virtual pets on Bin Weevils. Cute and bouncy, they are your companion in the Bin. Players can adopt a Bin Pet, pick its own unique colour and name inside the Bin Pet Shop. Ran by the character Dott, this shop sells pet items, toys accessories and food inside Bin Pet Paradise. For helpful advice on caring for your new pet, be sure to click on Dott inside her shop. They can be brought at the Bin Pet Shop for 5000 Mulch. Once purchased, its bed and food bowl will arrive to your nest. You can decorate a room just for your Bin Pet with toys and nest items.
Bin Pets can be looked after by feeding them and training them to do tricks, including juggling and fetching. Players can teach their Bin Pet to climb on their avatar and explore the Bin with them or on their back. In addition, looking after a Bin Pet involves regular exercises and feeding. Each Bin Pet trick and skill comes with its own unique level, progress, stars or juggling boards. Your Bin Pet can be dressed up inside PetStyle located in Bin Pet Paradise. Other players can see your Bin Pet's profile by clicking on it including its adoption date, pet status, skills and its profile picture.
There are many skills that can be unlocked which may not appear on the profile. You can care and play with their pet including keeping a strong eye on its food, vitality, fitness and endurance mechanics. You can change your Bin Pet's colour at any time at the Bin Pet Changer inside PetStyle for Mulch. Your Bin Pet's profile picture can be taken inside the Pet Photo Studio at PetStyle with costumes, backgrounds and outfits.
There are Bin Pet games at GymPet. Ran by the character Gong, GymPet is a location inside Bin Pet Paradise where your Bin Pet can exercise. Playing these games will reward your Bin Pet with happiness, fitness and endurance points daily. New players can experience what it's like caring for a Bin Pet for 24 hours at Pet For A Day inside the Bin Pet Shop. New Bin Tycoons can claim a VIP gift set at the Bin Pet Shop.
- Getting started
When you buy your Bin Pet, they will be delivered straight to your nest hall (you need to first log out and log back in again). Along with your pet, you will also get a bowl (to feed it) and a bed (for it to sleep and regain its vitality, fitness and endurance. The first thing to do is place the bowl and the bed in one of your nest rooms (you can always move the bowl and bed around at anytime)
- About your Bin Pet
Your pet lives in your nest. When you log off Bin Weevils your Bin Pet will climb into bed and sleep until the next time you log in. All your Bin Pet's food, vitality, fitness and endurance mechanics will pause until you log in again. When you do log in, your Bin Pet will remain asleep in its bed until you wake it up. To wake it up, call its name via its profile.
- Playing with your Bin Pet
To play with your Bin Pet or check on its status you simply click on it. This will show your Bin Pet's profile and food, vitality, fitness and endurance mechanics. You will find many cool tricks and skills. Some skills and tricks are not shown until you teach your Bin Pet them. This will give you access to your Bin Pet's actions such as fetching, spinning, copying, juggling, sitting and sleeping.
- Teaching your Bin Pet
At first you may have to repeat a first of your commands a few times before your Bin Pet will listen. Once your Bin Pet is fully trained they will listen to your commands. When your Bin Pet has successfully carried out a command you should stroke it by holding your mouse over it for a couple of a seconds - a hand will stroke your Bin Pet and they will respond with a smiley face. Stroking your Bin Pet after it has successfully completed a new skill and command will help it learn faster. Just like teaching a pet in real life, however, it may take some time before your Bin Pet carries out its commands. When your Bin Pet becomes good at certain commands, new commands and actions will eventually be unlocked. Some commands are more complex to unlock than others.
- Get your Bin Pet to copy you
Your Bin Pet is able to copy your actions such as jumping, waving and spinning. Make sure your is looking at you then perform an action and use the copy command on its profile. Your Bin Pet may not at first, but after a good level of training it will copy you, and jump too. Remember to reward your Bin Pet with a stroke.

Your Bin Pet will eventually have a wide variety of skills and abilities. These all fit in certain categories. Each skill has its own level progression and levels. Juggling actions have over 9 unique juggling boards and come with juggling boards that include pro and elite levels. Make your Bin Pet perform different skills to level up its progress. Each skill has its own level progression.

Ball skills include individual skills such as juggling as well as ball games that you and your pet can play and learn together.
- To throw a ball
Click on the ball icon, then click anywhere in the room. If your pet is watching you, it will see you throw the ball and go towards it. To throw the ball again, go over to the ball and click on the ball icon, this will pick up that ball from the ground and throw it again.
- Fetch command
Before your pet can throw a ball, it will need to practise fetching the ball with its mouth. After a short while, it should then be able to throw a ball back to you.
- Juggling
Your pet has the ability to juggle up to 9 balls and learn loads of juggling tricks. The best way to get your pet to juggle is to get it to sit, by clicking on the sit button, then click the stay button to get it to stay. Then throw a ball to it and click on the juggle button. This will then show you how many tricks it can perform and the difficulty of that trick. There are over 9 juggling boards with come with their own skill progression - including pro and elite juggling levels. It is important to stroke your pet after it has juggled otherwise it may get upset if it keeps dropping the ball. When it learns a new trick, it will perform a little dance.

When your pet's food status is green, there is no need to feed it (over-feeding it could cause it to become unhealthy and unfit), when it is orange, it is a good idea to feed it, if the bar turns red, it is really hungry and you should feed it. If your pet becomes too unfit, too hungry, overfed or hasn’t slept for a long time, then its endurance bar will go down. If the fitness bar becomes too low, it will drag the fitness bar down and limit how fit your pet can get. The more exercise your pet does (spins, juggles & jumps), the fitter it becomes. The fitter your pet is, the more actions it can do in one go without needing to rest. If your fitness bar becomes too low, it will start dragging the health bar down and will not be able to perform tricks well.
Before November 2013, Bin Pets had XP and earned XP for every action, trick and skill they completed. A Bin Pet's experience number would continually go up; the healthier your pet is, the faster the experience will rise. Performing tricks and mastering new tricks would also gain your pet more experience points as well as regular care. From November 2013, every Bin Pet action and skill has its own unique level and star systems. There are over 16 Bin Pet skills and actions. The skill progression remains complex yet rewarding for players.

Like all pets, your pet will get tired and will need to rest! You will know when your pet is tired, it will begin to walk/crawl slowly, its eyes will sink very close to its body and it will keep stretching and yawning. When your pet is tired they will walk over to their bed and sleep. If you wish to send your pet to sleep, click on the go to sleep icon and this will send your pet to bed. Your pet will wake up once their energy level has gone back to full again. You can wake your pet up during their sleep by walking over next to their bed. However you pet may not wish to be disturbed and will go back to sleep again.
Opened in December 2013, Bin Pets Paradise is a holiday like destination for you and your Bin Pet. The area consists of two main areas, including the Bin Pets Shop:
