Mulch and Dosh

Mulch is the main currency on Bin Weevils.  Mulch can be earned by playing minigames, missions, case files and gardening. Mulch can be used to buy a vast range of items and other activities around Bin Weevils.

Gardening is a useful source for earning Mulch. Every seed rewards you with a certain amount of Mulch, with rarer to obtain seeds and items offering larger Mulch rewards. Upgrade your garden to deluxe and super deluxe sizes at the Garden Plots shop to harvest and grow more seeds. Harvest Helper will harvest all fully grown perishable and permanent seeds and collect all the Mulch and XP you will earn by harvesting them individually.

Mulch Dig on Mulch Island can reward you up to 3000 Mulch per day. Finding gems in Mulch Dig boosts your Mulch score. Tycoons will receive 2x the amount of Mulch rewarded at the end of the game and they will also get 10 more extra spades when all the spades have disappeared. Every day you can play your Daily Brain Strain over at Lab's Laboratory. You will get 60 seconds to answer questions or solve puzzles which in turn will earn you Mulch.

• Sell your unwanted nest items at the Haggle Hut at Gong's Pipenest 
• Collect a Mulch Tastic lottery ticket every day at Weevil Post
• Help fill the cauldron with other players at Castle Gam and make Colin the dragon appear
• Wait for Dosh to throw Mulch notes from his elegant balcony inside Dosh's Palace 
• Open your business plaza and cash out earnings at the ATM machines 

The Dosh coin, or just Dosh, is an additional currency introduced in 2012 by the Dosh family. Dosh is intended as a premium currency on Bin Weevils. Unlike the currency Mulch, Dosh is more challenging to earn.

Becoming a Bin Tycoon will reward you with a Dosh salary daily and monthly as well as other features such as Bin Cards. In the same way, Dosh has superceded Bin Tycoon Membership protection on some items.  Players can spend their Dosh coins on prestigious hats at Hem's Hats, deluxe and exclusive stock at Nestco, collective Bin Bot creatures at Lab's Lab. They can also use their Dosh coins to help make SWS missions easier and to unlock extra help and tricks.

There are multiple ways to earn Dosh coins. Become a Bin Tycoon to earn a Dosh salary or purchase Dosh bundles on the membership page. Your Bin Tycoon monthly salary gradually increased for every month you subscribed to Bin Tycoon. If you were a Bin Tycoon for 12 months, you would be rewarded over 100 Dosh monthly. This was eventually replaced with a salary of 5 Dosh per day.

Occasionally, you can earn Dosh from the Bin Card in your nest. The amount of Dosh earned depends on what Bin Card number you are on - if you are on the first few, you will get small amounts, whereas if you are on the last ones, you will get bigger amounts. These are also available in vouchers to spend at Nestco and Hem's Hats. In 2012, it was reported in the Bin Weevils Magazine and What's New Blog there was to be a "Bank of Dosh" where you could exchange Mulch and Dosh at an unspecified rate. This has not yet been implemented and Bin Weevils discontinued such plans in late 2012.
